Erin, thanks for the comment.

I'm not sure about a blog specifically for training, but I think one of the best sites for SEO is SEObook. There is a fantastic amount of information there and a lot of it is for free. I don't know of any comprehensive *training* that isn't paid training, although you can certainly learn the basics for free.

Another site that has a lot of info is SEOmoz. They also have a blog. There has been some controversy surrounding them lately because of a new product they released late in 2008, but regardless, SEOmoz has great information on their website.

Some conferences you may be interested in:

Search Engine Strategies (SES)
Search Marketing Expo (SMX)

I really appreciate this information. I can not seem to get enough SEM information.

Has anyone ever done a blog regarding training for online marketers? There appear to be a lot of organizations, and businesses that offer various levels of certification but how do you choose the right certification program? Who is the standard bearer for online marketing certification? Are their standards for training online marketers? Are there any conferences that stand out for general online marketing? I guess I have a lot of questions.

I imagine in the meantime i will continue to learn through trial and error.

Again...thank you for your *Must Subscribe Blogs*
